"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional,
illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream
media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible
to pick up a turd by the clean end"
1st fact, never in the history of
mankind have we had so many tools available to us to solve the problems
of our own country and of the world. Technology: unbelievable advances!
Medicine:
from small companies, not the big companies that now rule the FDA, huge
breakthroughs. Food production: again unbelievable. Yet there is a
bottleneck somewhere. We need to find out what the problem is before we
all get ripped off even more by an uncivilized few how don't
consider themselves part of the human species. Over 2 million
people gave the supreme sacrifice to insure democracy and build
America. We should keep it!
Civilized:
1. Having a highly developed society and
culture. Ex: North America is civilized.
2. Showing evidence of moral and intellectual advancement; humane,
ethical, and reasonable.
3. Marked by refinement in taste and manners; cultured; polished.
Big Problems
Banks seem to no longer participate in the
growth or well being of their local communities.
Small Business Has No Voice
The majority of small businesses can't afford
huge lobbies to get Billions in unsecured
CASH!
Small businesses can't afford lobbies to change
laws so they can make more money or get out of paying taxes.

Of the (depends on who you ask) $1.5 Trillion Dollars or $7.2
Trillion Trillion dollars that has left the treasury or Federal
Reserve. A whopping 15 Billion has been earmarked for SMALL
BUSINESS. Yea, the ones the IRS tries to call MICRO
Businesses. I still cannot figure out what is micro about huge
risk, and work/worry 16-18 hours a day 5-7 days a week.
Let's do some math using the $1.5 Trillion:
OK so
$1,500,000,000,000 has went out our door for Bailout/Stimulus Plans.
Lets divide $1.5 Trillion by the earmarked $15 Billion that small
business is supposed to
get. Keep in mind that they are loaning out chunks of $150,000 to
Millions at a time to those Small Businesses that somehow are big
enough to have contacts
Somewhere?//?
But anyway, for ever $100.00 dollars that is being used for
the Bailout/Stimulus plan. $99 dollars goes to Government and Big
Business and $1 DOLLAR, yes folks
that's ONE DOLLAR goes to small businesses in America. Those
figures alone should give you a clue as to who we are to them.
And when we employ people. They are not at all just a number to
us. We usually work with them day in and day out. We actually know
their families and must care about
them. Because without them we can't operate.
But wait, this isn't about laying blame. Our approximately
500 elected federal officials Senate - House of Representatives
have their hands full. I heard that they are
busy passing around 10,000 new laws/bills a year. Not to mention the 17
million government workers with an average hourly pay rate of $36,
plus health, dental and retirement benefits. Yepper, their hands are
full so how would they even to be able to care about small business
people and their employees, the quiet ones that are always working.
It's only about 200 million people and their families, give or take a
few dozen million.
So you might ask, don't they know about this, why is there such
an imbalance? Why aren't they doing something about this? The
answer to that, from my perspective of having been around small
businesses for over 35 years is "They Are Always Working". Besides
producing a product or service, they have to conform to the rules of
the Federal Government and all of their forms. The State Governments
and all of their forms. The IRS and all of their forms. City, County
and other local governments and all of their forms. Which I might add,
after paying all the taxes, in order to submit many of the required
forms we gotta pay like $25 to $250+ bucks to just get the privilege of
filling out the forms and having someone stuff it in a file. Well, at
least until they need more money.
OK, anyway, what are we getting? Well one thing that has resulted
is fear. We get to live in fear. Why? Well mostly because in order to
spend lots of money we seem to need to travel to other places on the
planet and piss people off. And of that money, chances are, much of it
is spent overseas. And, wow, now look at just one of the results. 1 out
of every 10 people in the US is now on food stamps.
Who do we blame? Ourselves, for letting clever people sneak into
our government and devise ways to get money out of our treasury so they
don't have to work. Piling such a huge workload on our elected
officials that they didn't even have time to search through their
wisdom before making changes to our country that could have or is
having disastrous effects.
For instance, why are we making laws without running the ideas
by the people the laws will effect the most? Isn't that what a
democracy is? Isn't that what made America a Great and (used to be, at
least) respected people and country?
Who are these people that are making all these changes that only
benefit the few? Do they think we are not intelligent or qualified
enough? But, they are?
What about the other 290 million people in this country?
Well folks, it is our DUTY to pay more attention to all of this
before they take everything and run, leaving us to be victims and to
clean up the messes.
